MORE CAMPFIRE STORIES
FROM NORTHERN ONTARIO
ROCK GIANTS . . . TREE SIRENS . . . PORTALS to the PAST . . .ย
More Campfire Stories from Northern Ontario are not your average campfire stories! Did you know that dinosaurs may once have roamed the land, and spirits may inhabit those rocks you stand upon? In her new and bold set of campfire tales, author Shannon Robertson lets you follow some ordinary young campers on some extraordinary journeys in Northern Ontario’s stunning landscape of forests, caverns and cliffs. Paul accidentally discovers a giant hiding within the ancient LaCloche Mountains of Killarney, Angie and Sam disturb a lake monster who lurks along the shores of Agawa Bay, and Caileigh and Jacob each step inadvertently into different–and terrifying!โpieces of Neys Park’s long and varied history. But what all these adventurers have in common is their discovery that they have more than enough courage & wits to cope with all of that and more!
Whether you be ten, fifteen, fifty or one-hundred, these campfire stories will stir your imagination . . . and warm your heart!
CAMPFIRE STORIES
FROM NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO
LAKE GUARDIANS . . . TREE SPIRITS . . . GHOSTS that GUIDE . .
Campfire Stories from Northwestern Ontario are not your typical campfire stories! First told by author Shannon L. Robertson around the fire on summer evenings with her family, these are adventure stories about folk, both young & old, who find themselves in fantastical and sometimes scary journeys in the wild, rocky forests and provincial parks of Northwestern Ontario. Whether getting lost and encountering an ancient spirit atop Thunder Mountain, paddling solo through a storm in the Quetico wilderness, or searching the landscape for a missing Sleeping Giant, the campers and other people in these tales learn something about themselves, their inner strengths and their abilities along the way.
Ranging from touching tales, to encounters with mythical beings, these stories are great to read together, and fun for all ages!

I have both of these wonderful books. I love how Shannon incorporates local landmarks and businesses in her stories. Great way to spend family time reading the books with the kids indoors or, even better, outside by a roaring fire!
